Provincial Offences Court

Traffic Tickets

Within 15 days of receiving a Provincial Offences Notice, you must choose one of the following options

Option 1

Option 2

Option 3

Option 4

Plead Guilty

Remit the total payable as indicated on the Offence Notice to the Provincial Offences Office.

 

Plea of guilty – submissions as to penalty

Attend the court office at the times and dates listed on the back of the Offence Notice to speak with a Justice of the Peace. The Justice of the Peace may reduce the dollar amount of the charge or give an extension of time to pay; they cannot change the charge nor demerit points.

Trial

Defendant or agent must attend at court office to complete and file a Notice of Intention to Appear.

First Attendance

This is an opportunity to meet with the prosecutor to discuss and attempt to resolve the ticket. For more information, please contact the office number on the back of the Provincial Offences Notice.

Payment site will prompt users to enter ticket information.

Valid credit card (Visa or Mastercard) is required. Please note – additional non-refundable, handling fee will be added to all fine payments.

*  Please do not send cash in the mail, and allow for sufficient mailing time. Post-dated cheques will not be accepted.

Dishonoured cheques will be subject to a $30.00 administrative charge.

**Cheque or money order should be made payable to the Town of Caledon. Please return the yellow portion of the notice

and include the Parking Infraction Notice Number and Plate Number on the front of your payment
