Policing Advisory Council of Caledon (PACC)
To develop and maintain a partnership
between the Town of Caledon, the community at large and the Ontario Provincial
Police Caledon Detachment, identify community and individual concerns regarding
public safety and to effect solutions, encourage a sense of pride and a strong
commitment to improving the quality of life and safety in our community, and
co-partner with our community groups concerning crime prevention and community
policing issues (i.e. schools, businesses and senior groups).
The PACC Executive also oversee the activities of the following sub-groups:
● Traffic/ROAD WATCH
● Crime Prevention – Addressing residents’ concerns and initiating
recommendations regarding the prevention of crime in the Town of Caledon
● Restorative Justice – Restorative Justice seeks to build partnerships
to re-establish mutual responsibility for constructive responses to wrongdoing
within our communities.
