The Town of Caledon is developing an exciting new project called a Sustainable Neighbourhood Retrofit Action Plan (SNAP).

It will focus on working with the community to achieve measurable environmental and neighbourhood improvements in a section of Bolton (see the map below).

This is one of six SNAPs happening across the GTA.

It is a partnership with the Toronto Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) and the Region of Peel.

Thought Leaders Forum Update

On November 23rd, 2017, local community members, school representatives, Councillors, as well as Town of Caledon, TRCA, and Region of Peel staff participated in a Thought Leaders Forum to discuss and identify innovative project ideas for West Bolton.

Facilitated by Ascentia, participants moved through a series of activities to become familiar with the history of West Bolton, understand the current conditions, and finally, develop a creative vision and project ideas for future. As an outcome of the activities and discussions, in addition to other technical analyses, the SNAP Team will develop an outline of an Action Plan for West Bolton, including specific projects and programs to implement.
