In 2014, we asked you to IMAGINE recreation services and facilities - and the community answered the call.

Since then, we've been busy planning the future of Caledon's recreation facilities together.

 

What's NewFacility Needs Assessment Cover Page

The Facility Needs Assessment Study is part of the Image. Plan. Play. strategy. The study looks at what amenities are required within the key new builds and planned expansions over the next 10 years. These include: Mayfield West Phase 1 & 2, Caledon East Community Centre planned expansion and the proposed expansion of Mayfield Recreation Centre.“

 

Background

The Parks & Recreation Department and MHBC Urban Design and Consulting gathered information and made recommendations for the future of parks and recreation in Caledon to Council on July 7, 2015. A report was then presented to Council on August 11, 2015.
